Beliefs
Beliefs are the roots from which your life's experiences grow. The events which you encounter throughout your life
are attracted to you by your beliefs, intentions and desires. Beliefs are therefore fundamental and essential in the formation
of everyday events.
To become more aware of unconscious and conscious beliefs. Track the emotions, thoughts and feelings which are evoked whenever
you recall a negative event or situation. Follow
your feelings and emotions back to the surrounding beliefs or ideas that are conjured up when thinking about the situation in question.
Investigate your mind, what ideas or beliefs have become a intregal part of your psyche.
You may find a belief or group of beliefs
that are provoking actions and reactions that eventuates in the creation of a negative
experiences.
You owe it to yourself to alter
beliefs that are causing you any unwanted pain or suffering.
When you find negative beliefs in your own psyche, you can simply discard them, throw them out, empty the container. You are not your beliefs and they
are not you. You are
the final arbiter of what you would like to believe. You can choose to believe anything you want.
This all sounds so simple, but the psychological bondage that negative beliefs create are pernicious and difficult to identify.
Beliefs often convince your intellect of their necessity and validity, so you can not easily undo their malicious effects. The connection between negative
beliefs and negative events is not always immediately obvious. With negative thinking, a vicious cycle is inadvertently created in which
your own negative experiences or your observations of negative events in the world, justifies to your intellect your
belief in the inevitability of the negative condition. So you then see no need to change your beliefs, they seem warranted yet unrelated directly to
the negative events of your life. But there is a direct
causal connection between beliefs and events that must be personally acknowledged and accepted before any control over your
life can begin. So why not change your negative believes believe instead that wonderful, exciting, fulfilling events will occur to you,
that you deserve and will begin to have a life of abundance and fulfillment. What could be
the harm in it ? At worst you could be accused of being an impractical dreamer. Who can deny you your thoughts.
If you die believing in the Good, you will die happy this is absolutely guaranteed, regardless of your circumstances.
If you die believing in a negative reality, you will die unhappy. Now you will die one way or another so
why not die happy, what rational argument could you have against it.
You can easily choose new healthy beliefs to replace
those that don't serve you well anymore. It is your choice, you are the only one who can help.
You don't endless hour of self anayliis to rid yourself of negative beliefs.
The sincere recognition that your beliefs are the primary cause of your suffering will help open up blocked connections to negative beliefs
and will release you from their emotional and intellectual bond.
It is also essential in this process, to fill the psychological void which is created when you begin to discard
negative beliefs with new positive beliefs. As you adopt new life affirming
beliefs you will be greatly aided by assuming an attitude of self honesty, self trust and self love.
This is the simplest way to change the course of your life for the better. Believe in the Good, in Love and Joy, Cooperation, Creation and Eternity. It may seem pie
in the sky but the awesome power of your mind can be harnessed by changing your beliefs. Look at the power of beliefs they are
what spawned the many magnificent cultures and societies that exist around the world. Use the power of your beliefs to your
advantage and create a better world for yourself and others.
